Pursuant to Circular 06/2023/TT-NHNN of the State Bank of Vietnam, starting from September 1, 2023, customers with outstanding consumer loans for living needs such as: loans to buy houses, land, build new/renovate/repair houses to live in; means of transportation (cars, motorbikes), etc. at other banks can borrow capital from VietinBank to pay off the old loan in advance with lower interest rates, specifically:

- Medium and long-term loan interest rates for individual customers from only 7.0%/year.

- Loan amount up to 100% of the remaining principal at other banks.

- Principal grace period up to 24 months.

- Maximum loan term of 35 years and not exceeding the remaining term of the loan at other banks.

Customers can use the current collateral at other banks or flexibly use the assets they own, such as: real estate/cash/balance in deposit accounts/passbooks/saving cards/valuable papers, etc. of the customers or their relatives to secure the loan at VietinBank.

In addition to the medium and long-term loan packages, VietinBank continues to leverage its short-term loan packages to support business development and promote economic recovery. Accordingly, individual customers with short-term capital demand at VietinBank to pay off in advance loans for production-business and consumption at other banks will receive special attractive interest rate incentives.
