Apart from the interest support program (HTLS) already implemented by VietinBank in 2022 in accordance with Decree No. 31/2022/ND-CP (Decree 31), VietinBank will continue to implement a preferential program for lending to social housing projects, workers' housing projects, and projects to renovate and rebuild old apartment buildings under Resolution No. 33/NQ-CP.

The program is large-scale, up to VND30,000 billion, with attractive lending interest rates. The program will take effect from now until December 31, 2030. The program offers preferential interest rates for investors within 3 years and homebuyers within 5 years when investing in/purchasing projects in social housing, workers' housing, and projects to renovate and rebuild old apartment buildings.

In the early stages of the program's implementation, the lending interest rates will apply until June 30, 2023 to investors and homebuyers at 8.7%/year and 8.2%/year, respectively. After this period, from July 1, 2023, VietinBank will, every 6 months, announce the lending interest rates within the program implementation time.

VietinBank expects this preferential program to become a great support, helping businesses and individuals overcome difficulties in the current context; at the same time, it will boost the safe, healthy and sustainable development of the real estate market.
