Some notes: 

1. Two inward remittances forms via banking system are available, namely direct and indirect via intermediary bank.

2. If you make remittance from a bank having direct account relation with VietinBank, the amount shall arrive at Vietnam soonest without intermediary fee.

3. If you make remittance from a bank having no direct account relation with VietinBank, the amount shall be passed through one or some intermediary banks and charged by them. In order to minimize the intermediary steps, you should specify intermediary bank having account relation with VietinBank in the remittance request.

4. The required recipient information includes: Full name, ID card, and address. If the receiver has Account, ID card number and address shall not be required.

5. Telephone number should be provided so that the receiver may be quickly advised.

6. In many circumstances, the Bank is difficult to contact with the receiver for the causes of: Incorrect information, change in beneficiary’s residence and telephone number, etc. Therefore, sender should notify the receiver regarding successful remittance. The receiver should actively contact the bank to investigate the amount information.
