Updates on VietinBank credit card policies
1. Update on policies to grant online issued credit card limits secured by online passbook savings at VietinBank
The credit card limit is the maximum amount that cardholders can use to pay for expenses with this card. From now on, VietinBank will change the minimum limit for new issues/supplements for online issued credit cards and the ratio of granting limits on the value of secured assets, which are online passbook savings accounts on iPay, specifically:
- New granted limit when issuing a card is minimum by the annual fee of the issued card and not less than VND 5 million.
- Minimum supplemental limit is VND 5 million.
- The new granted/supplemental limit is equal to 85% of the value of secured assets.
2. Adjust to reduce the minimum installment conversion amount for installment transactions via VietinBank credit cards
The program to register for 0% interest installment conversion is extended to spending transactions from only VND 1,000,000 via VietinBank credit cards.
This minimum transaction value can flexibly change according to VietinBank's policies in each period
