VietinBank Building at 108 Tran Hung Dao was built and put into operation in 2001. This is a 17-storey complex including 1 basement for parking cars and motorbikes and 16 upper floors including: General Management Area, Customer Service Center, offices of blocks, warehouses, conference center, dining room, etc.

As characterized as an office building, all electricity consumption areas are equipped with electricity meters. Everyday, technical staff carefully record the amount of electricity consumed. When there is an abrupt change in the amount of electricity consumed, technical staff will promptly check and take adjustment and remedial measures to avoid wasting electricity.
The program to assess and recognize the title of Green Energy Facilities in 2022 has attracted 100 participating units in the city area. The facilities participating in the program are supported by an energy efficiency assessment using energy simulation tools, assisted in calculating energy efficiency index, building an energy management system; evaluating the application of equipment innovation, high automation techniques in the direction of the 4.0 industrial technology generation according to the city's criteria.

The assessment, grading, ranking and nominating council has proposed to recognize 55 facilities with the highest scores as green energy facilities.
The award ceremony for the title of Green Energy Buildings in 2022 aims to honor facilities and enterprises using green energy as well as popularizing and expanding typical energy-saving solutions for facilities with similar models, helping to promote energy management, use energy efficiently, and improve the city's energy efficiency; demonstrating the city's determination to remove difficulties and reduce energy costs for businesses in the process of international economic integration.
