Top 10 sustainable businesses
On the evening of December 1st, 2022 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) cooperated with units to organize the Ceremony to Announce and Honor Sustainable Enterprises in 2022.
Attending the Ceremony were comrade Tran Tuan Anh - Member of the Politburo, Head of the Central Economic Commission; comrade Pham Tan Cong - Chairman of VCCI, along with representatives of Leaders of departments, ministries, sectors, central and local agencies, domestic and international organizations and more than 200 delegates from enterprises. On behalf of VietinBank, Mr. Le Thanh Tung - Member of the Board of Directors of VietinBank attended.

2022 is the 7th consecutive year that the Program to evaluate and announce sustainable enterprises in Vietnam (CSI Program) has been organized and chaired by VCCI, with the coordination of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The Program has received the attention and participation of a large number of business communities across the country, regardless of their size or field of operation.
The Organizing Committee of the CSI Program selected 148 dossiers for the Evaluation Council to evaluate, score and submit to the Steering Committee of the CSI Program to decide on 100 outstanding Sustainable Enterprises to be recognized at the Announcement Ceremony. Of which, the Top 10 Sustainable Enterprises in the field of trade - services and production, the proportion of enterprises with state capital, Vietnamese enterprises and enterprises with foreign investment capital are 40%, 25% and 35% respectively.
Based on the assessment of the level of sustainable development of enterprises this year, the CSI Sustainable Enterprise Index Set Version 2022 has been updated with 130 indicators. Of which, 68% of the indicators relate to legal compliance requirements - this is a mandatory requirement for all enterprises. In addition, there are 32% of the indicators related to sustainable business initiatives.
Speaking at the Announcement Ceremony, comrade Tran Tuan Anh emphasized: Vietnamese enterprises and entrepreneurs need to further promote their proactiveness, creativity, and flexibility; strengthen cooperation and linkages with each other to create overall strength; switch business thinking to responsible business, thereby creating economic growth in harmony with environmental and social benefits; and proactively promoting new economic models to create more development space...
Units honored in the Top 10 Sustainable Enterprises in 2022
At the Ceremony, VietinBank was honored and awarded a certificate by the Organizing Committee as Top 10 in the trade and service sector in the ranking of Sustainable Enterprises in 2022.
